Expectations for Your Procedure

Pre-Surgical Preparation
In implant dentistry, success begins with meticulous planning. That’s why the process starts with a comprehensive consultation. During this visit, your team will take imaging scans, such as X-rays and CT scans, to evaluate your bone structure and overall oral health. They’ll then create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals, and take the time to explain every step, answer your questions, and address any concerns.
If preparatory procedures like bone grafting are needed, they will be performed before the surgery. Often, tooth extraction and implant placement occur on the same day. If there are any failing teeth next to your missing ones, they’ll need to be extracted to make space for the full arch.
